Our Mission

Our vision

At Dylan's Roar, our mission is to create and provide accessible, evidence-based resources that empower schools, parks, and hospitals to support individuals with autism. By fostering inclusion and understanding, we aim to enhance the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum and build more supportive communities for all.

Inclusion and understanding are at the heart of what we do.

Our resources are designed to empower communities to foster supportive environments where everyone can thrive.

Meet our founder

Hi, my name is Veronica and I am the mom to a great little man named Dylan. Dylan was diagnosed with autism at 2.5 years old.

Dylan struggled with communication and sensory issues and when I tried to find resources to help him get through everyday, I realized, the world is not very autism friendly. Especially for kids on the spectrum who can't talk and have sensory troubles.

I want to start a charity/non-profit called Dylan's Roar where we create resources that help make the world a more autism friendly place.

And who is dylan?

Meet Dylan!

Dylan is the inspiration behind Dylan's Roar.

Dylan was non-verbal until he was 5 years old. The very first sound Dylan ever made was a gentle "roar"!

This become the name of our cause... because it all started with that small but mighty roar!

Dylan started communicating using an iPad and a program called Proloquo-2-Go that had many of the visuals we use in our Communication Boards. Dylan can now speak and still roars to this day!
